Year 2 students of the Biomedical Engineering Study Programme visited the Vienna General Hospital (AKH), which is one of the largest single-site hospitals in Europe.
At the he High Field MR Centre at the Medical University of Vienna, which is part of the Vienna General Hospital, they were able to get acquainted with the 7T magnetic resonance and a unique laboratory for development of resonance coils, which makes unique flexible coils for magnetic resonance. They also visited the Ce-M-M, the Research Centre for Molecular Medicine of the Austrian Academy of Sciences.
During their studies, the students of the Faculty of Health Studies have the opportunity to visit state-of-the-art facilities not only in the Czech Republic, but also abroad.
