The Faculty of Health Studies provides tuition in the study programmes General Nursing, Biomedical Technology, Paramedic, Radiological Assistance, and Biomedical Engineering.
The study is realized within the scope of ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) and under conditions given by the Study and Examination Regulations of the Technical University of Liberec.
Admission requirements for the Bachelor study programmes: |
Applicants must have completed secondary education including the school-leaving exam. A medical certificate is required to confirm that the applicant meets the health criteria stated for the study and pursuit of the profession based on valid legislation. |
Admission requirements for the follow-up Master study programme: |
Graduation from bachelor study programme including acquiring of suitability to perform the profession of the biomedical technician. A medical certificate is required to confirm that the applicant meets the health criteria stated for the study and pursuit of the profession based on valid legislation. |
Information for foreign students: |
The Faculty does not offer any study programmes in English. The foreign students are allowed to study at FHS if they meet requirements given by the legal regulations of the Czech Republic and by international agreements. They are obliged to provide validation of foreign studies and degrees and recognition of educational documents (nostrification = recognition of previous foreign education) and certificate of the Czech language proficiency (min level B2) accepted in the Czech Republic. |
