Ambulance Driving Training Course 2022

The Year-3 students of the Paramedic Study Programme took part in an ambulance driving training course the last week in May 2022.

The Medical Rescue Service of the Liberec Region organised this course for our students. It took place in Ralsko, a former military area. It enabled our students to get familiar with driving the ambulance safely, analysing car accidents where vehicles of integrated rescue services are involved, and the technical equipment available to the rescue services. 

 

Under the supervision of the instructors of the Medical Rescue Service of the Liberec Region, the future paramedics experienced driving ambulance vehicles, focusing on precision when driving, reversing in bad road conditions, emergency braking when an unexpected obstacle occurs and operating in challenging terrain.
